Saleem Ahmed is a photographer and teacher living in Philadelphia, PA. He holds a B.A. in photojournalism from Temple University and a M.F.A. in photography from the Hartford Art School. He is currently an assistant professor in multimedia journalism at Temple University
In collaboration with the International Design Clinic (IDC), Saleem has been to Bolivia on four separate occasions since the summer of 2010. What began as a simple photography workshop, has grown into Vista Oculta. During each return visit to Bolivia, Saleem and his collaborators have focused on further-developing and refining photographic arts projects. These refinements include creating more advanced teaching curriculum, building new relationships with local organizations, and formulating business strategies that allow the projects to prosper.
